Okay, so I was hoping that it would be more wordless than anything, but I believe that this picture deserves an explanation, lol.
This past Friday, we not only attended our first ever Town parade, but the kids and I were invited to walk in the Parade,
along with the Youth Enrichment Program group, it was a blast!
(I will post those pics hopefully this week ;) )
The parade was literally down the block from our house, so we walked home. We played for a while in the front yard, because it was what i believe to be the only sunny day this year, lol. After being out there for a while, the pain from my body (R.A & Fibro) was getting to be unbearable, so I went inside and let the kids play for a bit longer. One of the kids came and told me that a Police Officer parked in front of our house. I told him it was probably for the many drunk people that were about to walk by from the parade, to come inside. About half an hour later, another Police car parks across the street, by this time I'm watching the kids from the front door; a few minutes later a tow truck pulls up.
YES! Someone called to tow the Police car, if you pay close attention, by the back of the officer's car; there is a sign. The sign says "No Parking Anytime" and let me tell you, the neighbor across the street who owns that white truck you see in the background...
Is one mean machine!
He literally comes outside and always screams and curses at anyone who parks there, I understand that it is hard to park such a big vehicle, but he takes it to the extreme. Anywho.... the kids later told me that the Officer told them that the Man across the street called and ordered them to tow the car because he broke the rules...
so they did.
WOW!
NOTE THOSE WELL BEHAVED CHILDREN ALL SITTING IN A ROW?
I swear they were so mesmerized by the whole thing,
they somehow decided to be well behaved and sat patiently for
the whole 35 minutes it took for the tow, lol.
What do you think of the situation?
Would you call a tow truck on a Police Officer?

Gosh that's a bit tough. I probably wouldn't have called the tow truck on the police. You have an interesting neighbor by the sounds of it.
ReplyDeletelol, interesting is an understatement ;)
DeleteThank you for stopping by!
That is the funniest thing I have seen today. Happened to a good guy doing wrong, oops
ReplyDeletedefinitely, lol, the neighbor takes all prisoners lol
DeleteThank you for stopping by!
Wow! I'm surprised they towed it! Your neighbor sounds like a real piece of work!
ReplyDeleteI was surprised as well Theresa, didn't think it could happen lol
DeleteThank you for stopping by!
Wow! Just... wow!
ReplyDeleteit is definitely a wow situation, lol
DeleteThank you for stopping by
Probably not. Police around here take a very dim view of "mere civilians" messing with them like that. And, they have things like guns, Tasers, and "resisting arrest" on their side.
ReplyDelete~EdT.
here too, but then there are those moments, i guess lol
DeleteThank you for stopping by!
I am surprised they towed it too. What an awful neighbor!
ReplyDeleteI was surprised as well Melissa! and yes, he is a piece of work, lol.
DeleteThank you for stopping by!
Whao... Shouldn't police cars have immunity or something?
ReplyDeleteDominique@ Dominique's Desk
that's what i thought as well Dominique!!! Guess not on this block, lol.
DeleteThank you for stopping by!
LOL! This is so funny. Thanks for hosting and Happy WW!
ReplyDeleteIt was, i can't lie, lol.
DeleteThank you for stopping by!!!
IF I was the Police, I would send him (truck owner who called it in) the bill for towing and impounding of the Police Car. If they are on duty, that is fair enough, where as if they are visiting someone there for lunch, that is a different matter!!
ReplyDeleteThey are not above the law, but I think the neighbour overstepped the mark! How would he feel if he needed the Police, but they couldn't attend as the car has been towed and impounded? Karma??
Mines up as well at AussiePomm - A Photographers Kit!!!!
Have a great day!!
I agree with you completely! You made perfect sense!
DeleteThank you for stopping by Bernie, I just visited your WW ;)
That is kinda hilarious!!

glad I could hand out laughs ;)
DeleteJust visited your page, thank you for stopping by!
I can't believe they towed a cop car!
ReplyDeleteyou're not the only one Elizabeth, lol. The kids had a blast watching, lol
DeleteThank you for stopping by!
Call a tow-truck on a police officer's car? Not unless I wanted to live in a world of pain ever after! (I'm almost certain the policeman in question knew who called for his car to be towed. & I'm sure he looked up your neighbor's car through DMV. The next time your neighbor breaks even the smallest traffic or parking rule, I'll bet you he gets a king-sized summons & ticket!)
ReplyDeleteThat's what we thought! I wouldn't dare do that, lol.
DeleteThank you for stopping by!
That's a funny story. I love that the kids are all sitting there watching.
ReplyDeleteThank you Alissa, I was SO surprised that they actually sat there the whole time... without a fuss! lol
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by!!!
lol...I can't believe it!! Thanks so much for hosting!
ReplyDeleteNo I wouldn't. Hope that guy doesn't need their help anytime soon.
ReplyDeleteWow, thanks for sharing, and for your linky. :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a nasty neighbour! But the whole situation is pretty hilarious!! LOL!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing :) Happy WW...
ReplyDeleteLOL you gotta laugh the man has more front than Selfridges, don't think I would though you never know you might need them LOL
ReplyDeleteHave a towtrucktastick week and thanks for stopping by :-)
Glad to see rules apply to them too! :0) Thanks for linking up I will do the same. x
ReplyDeleteThis is funny :)))
ReplyDeleteNow that's a funny story! Haha!
ReplyDeleteHappy WW :)
Guess the men in the white hats changed it to black! Twenty lashes with a wet noodle! Like some judge is going to say, "You bad boy. Don't you ever do that again. You need a time out!" hahahahahaha Like that will happen!
ReplyDeleteThat is too funny cant wait for hubby to get up to share it. But the police did break the rules but would I have called no way as now the police may look for reasons to give him a ticket.
ReplyDeleteThat is so funny, I'm sure the officer was not happy about it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing :) Happy WW...
Wow they would laugh in Philly! It's amazing how the kids behave for drama.
ReplyDeleteWell rules are rules, I don't know if I'd call the tow truck on the police, but its funny none the less.
ReplyDeleteWow... I don't think so, the officer may have been tending to a situation at the parade. It is funny though ;)
ReplyDeleteWow seems rather silly to me!
ReplyDeleteI probably wouldn't have called, but would have stated that he was breaking the rules. Wow! That a police car got towed, that your neighbor called and that all those children sat so nicely the whole time! Hope they got an ice cream cone afterwards! ;)
ReplyDeleteBet someone got into trouble for that one!
ReplyDeleteI would have called the police first and asked them to radio the cop to move his car. But the tow truck bit was much funnier to read about :)
ReplyDeleteWow, that's quite a funny story, I'm very surprised that they towed it!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, that's a good one. I guess round those parts, no one is above the law. no one. lol Thanks for the linky!
ReplyDeleteThat's certainly the first time I've seen a police car being towed! I wonder why he parked there?

Happy WW. Thanks for linking up with The Jenny Evolution and Wordless Wednesday Bloggers. Don't forget about the Friday Flash Blog on my site. See you then!
ReplyDeleteWOW! That is certainly a different twist in th evenue.I can't believe they actually towed him away but don't the rules apply to them too.LOLThanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThis is ridiculous! Cops do a job that, unless you are a cop, you can't even imagine. Rarely thanked, yet they still carry on their oath to Protect and Serve. I could go on and on, but my blood pressure is rising just reading all this. I leave it with~ we'll see what that guy objects when he NEEDS POLICE HELP!
ReplyDeleteIt is really hard to cope with a difficult neighbor. I am lucky that my neighbors are all kind older people that understand kids and remember how it was when they had young ones. It is incredible that the cop was treated this way -
ReplyDeleteNever seen that one before :)
