No matter what, I am always a proud Mom ;)

What makes you a Proud Mom?  As a Mom I think I can safely say that just about every single thing about our kids makes us proud, right?  Well I can't use "everything" as a specific answer, so I will break it down ;)

See, I have 6 kids, and that's 6 lives full of moments filled with love, smiles, tears, scrapes, and hugs.  6 little hugs when I am sad.  6 high fives when I do something I'm happy about.  6 little "thank you's & you're welcome's & excuse me's".  6 children who have been through SO much since birth, and have surpassed every expectation that both the Doctors
and I ever had of them.  See 4 of my 6 were born between 22-26 weeks premature, a couple weren't expected to make it at all, my two boys were on heart monitors well over their 1st birthdays.  Now I look and see 6 SUPER ACTIVE and healthy children who make my life so worthwhile.

That's what I'm proud of, that through the worst they have risen and make sure that they share their smiles with the world.  They hug people if they see them sad, they compliment strangers, they ALWAYS make sure they tell Family and friends that they are loved.  THAT is what makes me a Proud mom.  ;)  That they are living proof that through the darkest hours such beautiful things can arise ;)

  1. That's incredible that 4 of your children were born so premature and still defied all odds!
