1 week after my surgery...

So here I am, one week after my surgery, and after a lot of debating; I couldn't get myself to take a picture for you guys lol.  My face is still a little bit swollen and after no food for a week and odd sleep patterns I look terrible.  I need Dr. McDreamy to some take care of me ;)

When the thought of surgery keeps you up... literally!

So it's 4am and I'm supposed to be asleep, not for any regular night full of rest; but for my 7am surgery appointment.   Yet, I can't sleep, not even the valium that was prescribed has knocked me out, lol.  I have too many things to do and to think of before I am consumed with pain for days, without even the slightest "want" to be social... then again, I am such a chatterbox that I might be back tonight ;D

If you want a quick update on why I'm having surgery, read my post here, nerve wrecking to say the least right?!?!  Who do you know that has ever practiced smiling?!?!? ;)

Hello my beautiful friends ;)

A very quick update, lol.  So I have been struggling with my computer as many of you know, so that explains part of my absence lol.

The other thing is that if you remember from my previous posts, the news of having to  do a "Military Move" due to orders from Cali to the East Coast, has sent me into an even worst depression than I already was in :(  In my Hubby's own way, he has been trying to make me smile and be happy, he took a few weeks of "Leave" (vacation in Military terms) so he has been home with me and Anthony (4 yr old
)  while everyone else is in school ;)
 This does help, I guess, because it keeps me from being home alone, which if you remember from before, I even did a week in bed because I was just so severely depressed, I just have not completely come to grasps with the whole move thing, but I guess I will have no choice in the near future, lol.

This takes me back to the hubby trying to make me smile subject, lol. 
The entire last 2 weeks, he has "made" me get out of bed, and gotten me out of the house as soon as I am dressed, lol.  He has taken me shopping everyday, even if it's just for lunch and a window shopping trip, lol.
I do complain about leaving the house, and I know I should be happy that I get "made" to go shopping, lol, but a huge part of me just can't stop thinking about how sad I am about the whole situation.

I will post later about the gifts he got me the mornings he snuck out of the house while I was asleep, lol

I feel good today ;)

Hello my BEAUTIFUL FRIENDS, I owe u all an explanation....

As many of you know, I have been having computer problems and depression issues(on my other blog)  as well lately, lol.
Well here's the deal, I have thought long and hard about how to even announce this, because it is so hard for me, but as my friends you are entitled to know;
am I making a long story longer? lol

Well, as it will not affect any of you 99% of the time, it might only be big news to me,lol...
OK, OK, no more prolonging it, lol....

We found out last week that our stay in San Diego, California will be coming to an end :(
 My Hubby's Military Career will be sending us to the East Coast :(

Hubby is originally from NY, I am from Cali and have been here all my life.  For the last 11 years of Marriage I have thrown fits, and begged for hubby to continue to get orders in this City, because I never wanted to leave, but as I have heard, ALL good things must come to an end :(

His new orders will have us move to the East Coast, exact destination is still unknown, regardless of where it is, I am so sad.
I have been dealing with depression for a very long time, and though I always knew that our stay here was never permanent, the fact of seeing it on paperwork hit me harder than a 5 ton truck :(

All week I stayed in bed, sleeping, crying, and almost everything ending with "ing" that relates to sad, lol.  It has hit me so hard, I know he is happy about going "back home" and I know that he is sad to see me sad as well, but all I keep thinking about is me and the kids.  I know they will adjust quickly, as many kids do; in addition being closer to their grandparents will be even better for them, I guess I go back to me, lol.

I am so incredibly sad, I feel lost, like I lost hope, empty, I don't want to leave, though I know I have a choice, it's not one I want to make.  I DON'T WANT TO GO :(

I know that I have NEVER written a sad post on here(that's what my other blog is for, lol), but I have made sure I ALWAYS have been honest and open about our lives, so this is why I chose to talk about it.

Being a Military Family is SOOOOOOO hard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know I sound like a big baby, and I agree as well, because I know MANY Families that have moved so many times, but this is MY FIRST TIME, being forced to move from the only City I have known all my life, clear across to the other side of the country!!! 

We just moved to this house in June, WE LOVE the backyard!!!

I Finally have made friends here,

The support from the friends I have met through blogging (#jammyjam)
, the places I visit, my history, memories, and even though we don't speak I do not want to move away from my Family :(


I guess this opens up so many other subjects, of which I will post about separately to be detailed.
One good thing I guess is hubby knows how much I LOVE adventures, so to make me excited about the move, lol, he promised we could do a cross country trip, sounds fun, but I'm still sad, lol.

hello my dear friends....

yes, it's me ;)

I have been a bit busy with life lately, hence the lack of my daily ramblings, lol.

A quick update is that the whole family has been sick for over a month,, taking turns with stomach flu, flu, bronchitis, and now I finally caught a cold and the baby has an ear infection, so there goes my turn to rest :/

A well deserved hello...

I want to say hell o and thank you to my faithful friends for still sticking by my through this little slump i have been in.

Today I am telling myself will be a good day.  ;)

Yesterday when we picked up Kiera from school she was so excited and told us that on the basketball team that she just joined the week before, and mind you, she had never played basketball before that, they all tried out to see what positions they were going to play in today's game, which is thheir first game...
She made "shoot star"
she's the best shooter in the team.
We are going ot her game today, and I will post picks later ;)

On Wednesday we got to go to Disney on Ice, I will write about that later so I can upload pictures n stuff, lol.

Other than that, life has been on the slow track for me since getting sick.  Just haven't been able to get my body back out of the mud, but it's always a work in progress with me, lol.

Thank you Stacie, William, Jingle, Mai, Teresa, Noelle, and everyone else who has kept in constant contact with me, I value you very much as dear friends.

I have not forgotten about freebie friday, I am working on that right now ;)

something that kept me busy today, was finally working on my webpage I received it as a gift years ago, but couldn't figure out how to fix it, lol

Not so Wordless Wednesday, lol...

I have no idea how my mind works, half the time I'm not sure I know if it's working at all, lol.
Let me explain, my mind does word association in the weirdest of ways.

It started with me thinking:
hhmm I think I am going to do Wordless Wednesday posts like my friends,
then my brain, in one word at a time did this....

Wordless Wednesday = weekly = once a week = fun = wow = wow 

Wow = awesome = cool = giveaways = reviews = weekly reviews = weekly = wednesday = fun

Do you see what happened?  I have no idea how it went to that, just one word followed the other.  I have been thinking a lot lately about my blog, see I have many reviews and giveaways, but I didn't want to loose my very close friends that I have met through blogland.  I have wonderful followers that I would hate to loose because my blog changed direction from what it initially was.
